ROOM is an interior design and curation studio for private homes and hospitality.
We begin with people, not styles. We work with real materials that age beautifully. In every project, we search for the one idea that transforms it, then build it with rigor, down to the last detail.

The founder
She built her first space at ten: a small house set into a hillside, at the edge of a spruce forest. She began alone. Then the neighborhood came, children and adults, each bringing what they had: a plank, a nail, an idea. No one was asked. Everyone gave.
It became her favorite place, and everyone else’s. It was there she first understood what a beautiful place can do.
Twenty years in business confirmed it: people flourish where they are seen and valued. She founded ROOM to create places like that one.
As on that hillside, she never builds alone. A small team of designers and a trusted circle of craftspeople and makers bring what they do best to every project.
